StarLite Diesels billet Duramax belt Tensioner system

Our tried and proven custom belt tensioner setup was designed around competition at the highest level (UCC), to address a 10+ year old problem with high-performance Duramax serpentine belts. After 2 years in a row of chucking belts or shredding them after 1 pass down the race track or sled pull track – Cassidy decided we needed to build something different, and after testing – offer it up to the world to fix the problem. Our system doesn’t even require you to change belts (as long as yours is still good!)

At ballpark prices of $100 a belt (when you can find them in the specific length at a local parts store) – our tensioner pays for itself in no time!!

The StarLite Diesel tensioner replaces the factory belt tension that *ALL* known dual cp3 kits still use, with not 1 piece but 2 separate pieces, that effectively take all the slack and slop out of the belt and let you tighten to the belt to your specs. When properly installed, this system eliminates the need and worry about anything besides maintenance on the belt tension as it stretches over time and takes makes losing a belt on your way down the track the least of your worries from now on!

For Dual CP3 applications in particular, these belt tensioners are a must have. Tried and proven in UCC 2018 even through catastrophic engine and drive train failure – the same exact belt is still on the truck to this day.. one of the few reusable parts from the carnage that was our UCC 2018!
